Tax Reform

Under the NRRP, Italy has undertaken to implement a tax reform. During 2022, the Finance Committees of the Chamber and Senate jointly promoted a wide range of hearings and produced a policy document, from which the Government drew indications to produce a draft delegation law. The lack of agreement between the political parties and the early end of the legislature did not allow for its approval. In the new legislature, the Meloni government has promoted a new delegation for tax reform, which is currently being implemented. The Tax Laboratory will follow the work closely.
